Inter Miami CF, officially known as Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, is an American professional soccer club based in the Miami metropolitan area. The team began play in Major League Soccer (MLS) in the 2020 season at DRV PNK Stadium, the site of the former Lockhart Stadium. Inter Miami CF is owned by David Beckham, a former professional footballer, Jorge Mas, a Miami-based businessman, Marcelo Claure, Masayoshi Son, and Jose Mas, the latter three being part of the global investment firm, SoftBank Group. The team's colors are black, pink, and white. The club's first MLS match was played on March 1, 2020, away to Los Angeles FC.
